Congratulations to our very own Cecilia Bloxom, APR for being named to the CPRS College of Fellows. To earn this honour, CPRS members must have shown themselves to not only to be leaders in the public relations profession, but also have demonstrated outstanding leadership in CPRS. Successful Fellows devote their time and undertake tasks that advance the state of public relations in Canada, including mentoring others, speaking and writing about the value of effective public relations, or being involved in other College initiatives.
Since becoming a member of CPRS Edmonton, Cecilia has dedicated countless hours to the Society, both on a local and a national level. Most recently, Cecilia is a past-president of CPRS Edmonton and co-chaired the 2019 national conference, Evolving Expectations. She is currently the Senior Director, Strategic Communications for the Canadian Patient Safety Institute.
