Analytics. Marketing. Targeting. A magic trio when it comes to social media. In February, Beverley Teresa of Throwdown Social Media, and Liam Crotty, social media specialist at the Alberta Motor Association, spoke to us about how we can dive into analytics.

- measure and prove ROI and marketing impact,
- make better strategic and business decisions,
- compare your social media performance against competitors, and
- track marketing teams’ efficiency.
Before you get to analytics and marketing, remember that everything starts with your target audience. This way, you can recognize how to build mutual relationships and engagements. Nowadays, there are numerous social media analytics tools such as Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Twitter Analytics, Facebook Analytics, and Instagram Insights.
