Are you wondering if that stellar campaign or project could be award-worthy? Or perhaps past award submissions haven’t been successful?
Past CPRS Awards of Excellence winners will share their experience and top tips in a one hour webinar hosted by CPRS Edmonton. Multiple award winners, Tammy Vineberg APR and Sharon Hawrelak APR will share how they overcame some of the challenges of compiling a winning submission including key supporting documents and how to represent a campaign or project effectively in an award submission.
The presenters:
Tammy Vineberg APR, president of CPRS Edmonton, is the director of marketing and communications for the Jewish Federation of Edmonton. A former journalist, Tammy built her 19 year career in public relations with experience from the health care, post-secondary, and non-profit sectors. Her awards include two silver CPRS Award of Excellence for Best Special Events Projects and a silver CPRS Award of Excellence for the Best Nonprofit Campaign. Tammy also has numerous awards from IABC Edmonton’s Capital Awards and the former Health Care Public Relations Association of Canada.
Sharon Hawrelak APR recently retired from a 30 year career in public relations for government, utilities and non-profit organizations. Sharon is currently a mentor and past president of CPRS Edmonton and former APR exam team leader on the CPRS Accreditation Council. Her awards include a gold CPRS Award of Excellence for Best Issues Management Campaign and silver Best Internal Communications, in addition to awards from IABC, BC Government, Television Bureau Viewers Choice and more.
