CPRS Edmonton 2023-2024 AGM
CPRS Edmonton members: please join us for the 2023-2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, Jun 26, 2024, starting at 5:30 p.m. Members are encouraged to arrive a little early to sign in.
The AGM will be held at the Workshop West Playwrights’ Theatre, 8529 Gateway Blvd., in Edmonton.
The AGM is only expected to take about 15 minutes, and will be immediately followed by our last PD event of the board year: AI’s Impact on Communication Evaluation. Everyone is welcome to attend the AGM, but only current CPRS Edmonton members in good standing will be able to participate and vote.

AI’s Impact on Communication Evaluation + AGM
Evaluation is an important part of a communications strategy. With artificial intelligence playing a large role in all aspects of the public relations profession, what impact does it have when it comes to evaluation? This fireside chat will explore how communication professionals can use AI in evaluating a communications strategy, campaign, or other data such as website analytics. It will also delve into the ethics of using AI and the best practices.

PRS Edmonton is pleased to honour our two newest APRs: Zak Fairbrother, APR and Benjamin Proulx, APR.
Accreditation is a year-long process in which candidates are evaluated against a rigorous national standard for ethics, strategy and professionalism. Successful candidates receive the right to use the designation, and continue to contribute to and elevate the profession of communications and public relations throughout their careers.
